You don’t necessarily need any previous care experience! What we’re particularly looking for is someone with a strong business acumen, good people skills and the confidence and desire to succeed. It would also help if you’ve got good management skills and you’re likeable! You’ll need to develop, drive and steer your business forward, focusing on its financial performance whilst never forgetting that providing quality home care is your ultimate goal.
You’ll need a working capital of between £120,000 and £150,000. Included within this is the franchise fee of £41,500 + VAT. You’ll also pay a royalty fee of 6.5% of your monthly revenues (+ VAT).
The creation of a territory is based on the potential for franchise growth – so there’ll definitely be a market for your new business. Your territory will have at least 25,000 over-65s. Our team of experts will be there to support you in developing your care operations and in recruiting, training and maintaining a workforce of effective Care Professionals.
You’ll need some initial support first. This will start as soon as you’ve purchased the franchise, as you’ll be invited to New Owner Induction Support at our National Office. Support on various topics will continue after that. Once you’ve publicised your new office and launched your website, you should start to get a few enquiries coming in over the next few weeks.
