Home Instead kicks off fundraising at Carers Centre party

Lucy Gill & Alan Savage from Home Instead Senior Care enjoyed a day at the Trafford Carers Centre annual party on Friday 17th June and started their summer raffle in aid of the Carers Centre.

The event attracts hundreds of people from across Trafford, who are supported by the Carers Centre, and the person they care for such as their spouse, family member, friend or neighbour.  As well as the entertainment, stands are hosted from a range of voluntary, charitable, medical and care organisations.  Home Instead Senior Care were proud to be the only care-at-home provider attending and able to talk to a range of people about how they provide person-centre care where key features such as continuity of care are provided.

Lucy Gill said: We had a great time talking to many individuals and organisations about care in your own home.  We also kicked off our Summer Raffle where for £1 a ticket you can win a 'Carer for a Day' & where all the proceeds go towards the Trafford Carers Centre.

The winner of the prize will be drawn at the Timperley Country Fair on the 10th September.
