Local woman, Sue Broadbent, co-owner and care manager of Chester at-home care business, Home Instead has been awarded her NVQ 4 in Leadership & Management for Care services, achieving the NVQ in record time.
Sue continued to work full time whilst carrying out her studies, taking full advantage of her evenings and weekends to fit in the coursework. Sue submitted her papers to West Cheshire College for what is usually a three year home study course. Through hard work and determination Sue managed to complete the course and receive her qualification in just 17 months.
If that was not impressive enough, Sue also passed her NVQ 2 in Infection Control at the same time.
