Following a move to larger office premises at the Europa Business Park, Stockport in December last year, the owners of at-home care company, Home Instead, have taken the decision to expand the business and have now taken over operations for the company in Tameside.
Home Instead is part of a national franchise business which now has over 85 offices across the country.
The Stockport business is owned and run by local Heald Green couple David and Joanna Moore who were amongst the first people to take up the Home Instead franchise opportunity in 2007.
The couple, who now employ a team of 8 office staff and 85 caregivers look after almost 200 clients in Stockport and Tameside borders and are currently on the look out for more staff to cover the Tameside area.
Commenting on the business’s growth, David said: “Demand for care is certainly on the increase. We are passionately committed to providing the highest levels of at-home care to our clients and have established a strong reputation for providing bespoke care, tailored to the needs of individuals.
“We match clients and caregivers so that they share areas of interest in common and our calls are all of a longer than average duration (typically 1 hour) – this means that they can enjoy their time together and our caregivers have the opportunity to really make a difference.”
Home Instead services include personal care such as assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and medications; home help covering all aspects of day-to-day housework, shopping, meal preparation and household duties plus companionship services that can involve everything from escorting clients on visits or appointments to simple conversation and good company.
