Many of our clients enjoy accompanied visits to local spots like The Woodside Café for a slice of cake, or gentle strolls through Bricket Wood Common, where nature provides a calming sensory experience. Our Care Professionals regularly support visits to dementia-friendly events and venues, where clients can join memory-stimulating activities and make social connections. We’ve built wonderful relationships with local shops and businesses in Bricket Wood who know our clients, creating a supportive community network that helps maintain confidence and independence.
Our Bricket Wood Team is With You Through Every Step
We are led by Fiona and Nick Harrall, a husband and wife team who have been dedicated to providing exceptional care in Bricket Wood for 15 years. Our office is conveniently located in St Albans, making it easy for families to pop in for a chat about their loved one’s needs or simply for reassurance. We invest heavily in ongoing training for our Care Professionals, with regular dementia workshops held in our dedicated training suite where practical skills and understanding are developed through hands-on learning. Our team applies what we call the “Mum & Dad Test” to everything we do – if it’s not good enough for our own parents, it’s simply not good enough for our clients.
Beyond individual care, our commitment to supporting those living with dementia extends throughout the Bricket Wood and St Albans communities through our popular Memory Cafés. We launched our first in St Albans in 2017, creating a welcoming space where people living with memory conditions and their carers can connect, share experiences, and enjoy companionship every Wednesday morning. Our Radlett Memory Café followed, offering the same supportive environment on alternate Tuesdays, with both cafés staffed by wonderful local volunteers who ensure the tea and cake are always flowing. We also work closely with local organisations, including EMDASS, Carers in Herts, and Admiral Nurses, to provide comprehensive support and guidance.
We deliver tailored home care to the Bricket Wood community to nurture wellbeing and independence.
We adapt our services to fit your life, delivering compassionate, consistent, and attentive care, enabling you to thrive in your home and community.
