This is our latest recruit from Build-a-bear; our caregiver bunny was really popular when Home instead offered to sponsor a local schools summer fair. This gave us chance to meet parents and grandparents, who were interested in finding out about becoming a Home Instead caregiver. Our part-time hours are very suitable for people who wish to have a rewarding career, while still having time for a full family life. Our training and support of people who wish to become Caregivers, proved popular with parents who had never thought of a career in care.
Some Grandparents were especially interested, as part-time roles can prove a useful top up to pension income. Many people find caregiving a rewarding way to remain active, using the life skills and experience to help seniors remain independent. We at Home Instead value people, who have gained experience through looking after friends and relatives. By becoming a Caregiver these skills, can be used to enhance the lives of our clients. Our employment opportunities can suit anyone no matter what their previous working back ground as long as they wish to care for people and are willing to learn.
The Caregiver bunny has now found a new loving home, being christened Ella at school assembly in the naming draw. Her new owner Paige is delighted and our care manger Maxine will have to find a new caregiver to chuckle with in the office.
