Our trainer, Dinah, recently delivered an interactive talk to the Kendal Mother’s Union group on Dementia Awareness. The presentation covered different types of dementia and how they can present. The enthusiastic audience participated in a number of activities aimed at addressing some of the myths around the condition and exploring how a person can continue to live well with dementia. The talk, which would a suitable for anyone with an interest in dementia and how to help and support those living with it, was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
