Outstanding milestone of 50!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that 50 of our Home Instead offices have been rated as ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.

What makes the milestone even more impressive is that only 3% of home care providers in England have received this accolade- compared to more than 25% of the Home Instead network.

Home Instead Wirral, run by husband and wife team Cath and Mike Chalton, became the 50th office to achieve this rating, with glowing comments throughout their inspection report.

In the report, one client said: “Outstanding is the only way I can describe it, they all deserve medals. When your world is falling apart, having someone come in and show that level of compassion, Home Instead were there when I needed them. I will be forever grateful to them.”

Another client described how their CAREGiver had “completely changed” their life for the better.

A relative was quoted as saying: “Their face lights up when the CAREGiver arrives and they immediately engage in conversation.”

Another relative described how their care given by Home Instead made their loved one “feel alive.”

People are at the heart of everything we do at Home Instead and we’re proud that so many of our offices have been awarded this coveted rating.

Commenting on Home Instead reaching the milestone, Kate Terroni, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care at the Care Quality Commission, said: “I would like to congratulate everyone at Home Instead on the fantastic achievement of having 50 CQC outstanding ratings. Our inspections have consistently shown that people who use their services receive exceptional personalised care from a well led team.

“We want everybody to have access to the best possible care and will continue to support providers to share best practice, ensuring that more people across the country are able to access the highest quality care.”
