Coffee and cakes in aid of Macmillan

The team at Home Instead in Solihull organised a Macmillan coffee and cake morning recently to get their clients and caregivers together and raise some much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer in the process.

They successfully raised a fantastic £209.00.

The event was attended by over 40 people from the local area, including Home Instead’s caregivers, elderly clients and Cat Yates, a representative from Macmillan Cancer. Guests were treated to a range of games including guess the number of sweets in the jar and even a quick game of bingo with numbers called out by Care Manager Sonia Tenniswood.

Owner of at home care company, Home Instead, Tracy Ferreira commented, “The clients and their families had a wonderful morning and it was a great chance to get all the clients and caregivers together and raise some money for a well deserved charity.”
