About Us

Welcome to Home Instead Newport. Having lived in Newport for all of my life I am delighted to be able to offer a quality service to elderly people in the area.

We believe your loved ones have the right to live meaningful, dignified and independent lives in their own homes for as long as possible. We help them achieve this by providing the highest quality care that they deserve. Not only will their quality of life be enhanced but also family and friends will have peace of mind.

We will provide care and support to a standard that you would provide to your loved one, our trusted CAREGivers will support and care for our clients as they would their own family member. We are inspired by the knowledge that our clients are living fulfilling and dignified lives, and ultimately by the smiles we see on their faces. We do this by:

Spending time with our clients. This may range from companionship (such engaging in hobbies or a trip to the local shop), to home help (such as meal preparation or light housekeeping). All our visits are a minimum of 1 hour, so there's time for companionship, as good care cannot be rushed. We turn up on time, at a time agreed by you and we'll stay the agreed time (we don’t apply ‘tolerances’!).

We choose the best CAREGivers for each client, matching their interests, so they’ll have plenty in common as well as receiving personalised care. The same CAREGivers will attend every call, enabling the development of a close relationship as a result of trust and reliability, we would never send a stranger.

We will tailor our Personal Care Plan to suit the needs of your loved one. Our non-medical services typically include companionship, home help, transportation to appointments, outings, and medication reminders. We liaise closely with local health professionals and other agencies to ensure our services slot in with theirs. We are also pleased to also work closely with the NHS, and local authority who issue direct payments to some clients.

Our CareGivers support clients on an emotional and social level as well getting the practical tasks done. Don’t take our word for it, we been recognised for our quality care through a variety of awards. In 2016 alone Home Instead has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, the Princess Royal Training Award, and for the third year running Home Instead were the Laing Buisson Specialist Care Winner.

Each CAREGiver is carefully vetted, fully security checked to ensure that they share our passion to ensure top quality care is delivered, and are not afraid of going the extra mile for clients and their families. Then we deliver top quality induction training, once they have successfully completed their training we shadow and support CAREGivers, and provide ongoing training and professional development. If you’re interested in becoming a CAREGiver please give us a call on 01633 740028

Our Home Instead Newport office is part of a network of just under 200 locally owned and operated offices throughout the UK. For a friendly and informal chat about the care and support options available for your loved ones, please just get in touch. We're here to help.
