Home Instead Wirral took part in the "Stay Nifty After Fifty" event where all different organisations came together to provide visitors with information and advice about their well being. There were stands for the Wirral Community NHS, Social Services, Housing, Wirral Age UK and Alzheimer’s Society to name a few.
Throughout both days there were speakers from different organisations who gave informative presentations such as the Partnership Homes, Portsunlight Trust, Merseyside Fire Service, Solicitors. There was a fun side to both days, on how to keep fit and stay healthy, for example they had two ladies belly dancing and a cycle you had to pedal to make a smoothie drink... that was fun to watch!
Again a bit of fun, but getting the message across, showing people how to have fun and keep fit at the same time. Our Maureen had a good two days networking and informing people about Home Instead and the standard of care we provide.
