Welcoming our new Marketing Assistant Ollie

On 10th July our new Marketing Assistant Ollie started his year long placement with Home Instead Senior Care Sheffield and Barnsley. For his 1st 4 days Ollie undertook our CAREGiver induction training alongside some of our other new recruits. Ollie is pictured taking one for the team by showing our new recruits how the hoist works!

On joining Home Instead Ollie said:

“I am very excited to begin my year working with Home Instead Senior Care. Its very exciting to be working closely with such a fantastic company providing excellent care for people within the community. I look forward to developing my relationship with the office staff, the CAREGivers and our clients, to create the best environment for all to be successful in 2017-18. I hope to further myself and the company by providing my own knowledge on Business and Marketing, to get the best results for the company and our clients.

Home Instead are a fantastic company to work for and many of the companionship, personal care and further care we provide run very closely to my heart, with many of my elder relatives seeking similar care now and in the future. I am very excited to begin my journey with Home Instead, and thank my predecessor Joe for all his hard work in making my transition into the role smooth and enjoyable. I hope I can achieve as much if not more than he has to the best of my ability. I thank Home Instead immensely for the opportunity to work with this amazing fulfilling company!”

Ollie's arrival means that on Friday 28th July our current Marketing Assistant Joe will be leaving after completing his placement year. Joe will be heading back to Sheffield Hallam University to complete his International Business Degree.

'‘My year with Home Instead Senior Care has been better than I could have ever imagined.  Along the way, I have picked up some amazing experience which will I’m sure will serve me well in the future.  It has been a joy meeting CAREGivers and clients who have come into the office and I’d like to thank them, along with the office staff for making my time here so enjoyable.

I would especially like to thank Bryn, Jill and Sarah for supporting me throughout my time here, as well as giving me the opportunity to work for such a fantastic company.

Finally, I’d like to wish my successor Ollie good luck! I'm certain he’ll have a great time and gain a lot from the upcoming year.’'
