On Tuesday 19th of May, Home Instead Senior Care Sheffield held another successful Dementia Workshop at Wood Hill House. We had a turnout of over 10 people attending the last one and following this we have organised the next FREE workshop.
The workshop is divided into 3 days and is delivered as following:
Day 1 of the workshop covers a broad background into Alzheimer’s disease and other Dementias and is a fantastic opportunity for members of the community to come along and get a clearer insight into Dementia and what they can do to stop the signs of this disease.
Day 2 includes capturing life’s journey and techniques to handle challenging behaviours
And finally Day 3 involves a range of activities to encourage engagement and participation
Our workshops are completely free and open to anyone to join; we believe these are a brilliant opportunity for anyone in the community to come along to as well. Places on the workshop are limited so we recommend that you either call or email us to confirm your attendance.
