A couple of Home Instead Sheffield & Barnsley's ongoing events for the elderly have recently been featured in the local press.

Firstly, Sheffield Star Collumist GP Mary Wren discussed our ongoing Friendship Lunch and how it is a brilliant way of combating loneliness amongst elderly members of the local community.

Why not pop along to our Friendship Lunch every Monday at the Crosspool Tavern, 11.30 - 14.30! It is brilliant opportunity to make new friends, have a sing - along, a dance and of course a wonderful carvery meal all for just £6!

The Sheffield Star were also in attendance at the Copthorne Hotel, Sheffield, where the recent Superjam Afternoon Tea and Dance event was held to celebrate Older Person's Day. There was music and singing by the the amazing Susan St Nicholas, as well as a Raffle. The Lord Mayor of Sheffield also attended and had a great time!
