Home Instead Sheffield has yet again hosted a recruitment event, this time at their local office. The open day took place on Tuesday 10th June, and saw more than 15 people attend with a keen interest in the carer role available. Franchise Owner Bryn Evans commented “Our main focus at the moment is to find people who are caring and compassionate, and who want to work on a part-time basis. We have hosted a few recruitment open days throughout May and June, and we will continue to organise them throughout July, as we are always looking to take on new people”.
Kathy and Debbie were also in attendance at the event along with Nigel from the Job centre, “We were very pleased with the amount of people that came to the open day; Nigel from the job centre was also able to invite a lot of individuals who were looking for care work”.
We will hope to meet more potential carers at the Nether Edge farmers market on the 22nd June, where we will have a stall present, which provides more information about the carer role.
