Franchisee Owners Celebrate 13 years of Success
Jill and Bryn Evans, who opened Home Instead Senior Care’s first franchise office in Sheffield, are celebrating 13 years in business.
The couple were amongst the guests at Chester Cathedral as Home Instead celebrated the opening of its 200th office in May.The Evans’ invested their life savings to introduce Home Instead’s care model to their local Sheffield community in 2006. At the time Home Instead’s unique approach had been tested at a pilot office in Chester and had established a highly respected track record in the United States.
13 years on, they have expanded into a further two territories, delivered over a million hours of care and inspired many other franchisees to follow in their footsteps in providing excelled care service.
Speaking about this at the recent celebration, Bryn said, “This dream took five years of planning but we are extremely lucky to have a fantastic general manager and highly competent team who make this possible.”
The couple are fiercely proud of the legacy they are creating, commenting, Bryn said, “Our intention has always been to provide the level of care that we would wish our own families to receive.
“We have supported over 1,600 clients and we are still supporting the sixth client that ever came to us. The third CAREGiver to work for us is still with us today.
“Jill and I are very proud to have reached the milestones of 13 years and one million hours of care but it is the relationships that matter to us most. That our team has been making a difference in so many lives, for so long is very humbling.”
Bryn and Jill put much of their success down to the support of fellow franchisees that followed closely in their footsteps, as well as the ongoing support they receive from National Office.
“There are still very few organisations delivering care in the way that we do but we are proud of the things that make us different,” said Jill. “We have grown a successful business by genuinely caring. We care for our clients, of course, but we also care for our team and the communities in which we operate. That is the Home Instead way. People have always been and will always be at the very heart of Home Instead Senior Care.”
