"Many thanks to you and all of your team in these most difficult times"

Son and Daughter of client

It was always my Parents’ wishes to remain at home for as long as possible and, despite significant health issues, this was made possible by Home Instead. All of the Home Instead carers who looked after Dad for over four years, and Mum also for the first two years, have been professional and always kind and cheerful. We have valued the fact that when the care packages have needed to be changed, either in the short term or permanently, Home Instead have been impressively responsive and able to provide solutions. It’s testament to Home Instead that Dad wanted as many of his carers (and other Office based staff that he has interacted with) to join the family at his 85th birthday party, as he got to know them as friends not just carers ’’

After Just Three Weeks

"After three weeks I just wanted get in touch to say thank you so much for helping me organise some really appropriate support for my parents. It’s such a weight off me and is going really well.

From the very first contact, I felt that you were really knowledgeable and caring and totally understood some of the difficulties that I had been having and were clear about possible solutions. You were very professional but also warm and understanding and I felt really reassured which had not been the case when communicating with other providers.. I left our initial phone calls feeling heartened that there may be a possible solution to some of the difficulties we had been experiencing.

The introduction process with my parents went well and the visits have gone from strength to strength with mum eating much better than she was. Three weeks in and mum couldn’t be happier. Elaine and Katrina are lovely and mum has really formed a strong bond with Katrina whom she sees most. I’ve noticed a difference in mum she is more chatty and looks forward to her visit. It’s lovely to see her like this. Whilst my dad still refuses a meal at the moment, there is now some social interaction with both care providers which is better progress than I might have expected.

Thanks so much for your help"
