Vicky Waring - Owner

Hello, I am Vicky, owner of the Retford and Gainsborough office. 

In 2014 I came across Home Instead at an Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk, where I was walking in memory of my Grandmother who died of this terrible disease. After researching Home Instead I found we shared a passion to deliver dignified, quality care. I am now proud to say I have become a member of the Home Instead family and I am committed to ensuring the delivery of high quality services through the Home Instead Senior Care model and in particular welcome the minimum set standards of one hour visits.

On a personal level I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and gardening. 

Care Manager

Kim Yallop - Care Manager

Hi I'm Kim and my main role as Care Manager is to oversee the day to day running of the office.

A big part of this role is to ensure the quality of the services we provide meets the high standards that Home Instead Senior Care set and make sure that the client and CAREGiver experience is the very best. Having personally cared for my Nan I expect all the care that we deliver as a team at Home Instead Retford and Gainsborough to be of a standard I would be happy for my Nan or other family members to receive. I have been working in care for most of my career, across a range of roles from personally caring for my Nan, caring in residential settings, training care staff and care management and would love to hear from you if you have any queries about care for a loved one.

Outside of Home Instead I enjoy walking my beautiful dog ‘Lucy’, reading and spending quality time with my family


Naomi - Deputy Care Manager

Hello, I am Naomi, I joined Home Instead Senior Care Retford & Gainsborough in 2016 and I am the Deputy Care Manager.  I was self-employed for many years prior to joining Home Instead and I have been involved in care for 35 years. I can truly say that Home Instead is indeed home, I am so fortunate to be in a job I truly love, working with incredible clients, the best office team ever and fantastic CAREGivers.  If you want to know a bit more about the service we provide, we can all help, but I am the main lady to talk to. I can arrange a consultation which enables me to get to know you and get an idea of what your needs will be. We pride ourselves with our companionship service but we also do a wide range of other care. Home Instead are very flexible and can offer the hours you may require. I will have a good chat with you and get to know you a little bit better, including your likes and dislikes so we can match you with a CAREGiver of similar interest. All our CAREGivers have Business Insurance on their cars so if you’d like a trip out somewhere they can take you. The more I know the better the match will be.  We constantly receive wonderful feedback and compliments from our clients and their family members regarding the service they receive from Home Instead when I complete regular reviews.


Kathryn Norris - Recruitment Co-ordinator

Hi, I'm Kathryn and my role at Home Instead Senior is Recruitment Co-ordinator, I am also still a CAREGiver as I love my job being out in the community helping people. 

Working with Home Instead has been one of the best decisions I have made in life! This job has made me realise how precious life can be and has helped me to see a better future for me and my two children. My job allows me to help others and to make sure our care is the right care for our clients. When I go into client’s houses, I treat them as they are my own family. I want the best for people, and I want to be a part of their experiences. Helping others become the best they can be within their job role has certainly made this job super amazing as I see it from both CAREGiver and client’s perspective and watch their relationships grow.

Abby - Care Co-ordinator

Hello, I am Abby and I am the Care Co-ordinator at Home Instead Senior Care. My role also consists of doing rotas and ensuring everyone has a schedule to work with and supporting our CAREGivers. The role requires me to take information about our CAREgivers and match their likes and interests, including hobbies, to our clients and potential clients. Therefore ensuring that all our clients and potential clients receive the quality care they deserve. I have previously worked in different care jobs but nothing like Home Instead, where I feel like I have found my place. I love a challenge and my role has given me just this. I love working with others, both staff and clients.
