Ben Barraco - Franchise Owner
Ben Barraco is the owner of Home Instead Redbridge & Walthamstow. He is responsible for the overall management of the business including marketing and PR activities, administration, accounting and payroll. Ben has previously held managerial positions in his family’s businesses in the leisure and hospitality sectors and, more recently, he was a manager at easyJet where he was responsible for staff performance and customer service delivery. When Ben decided, like his parents before him, to start his own business, he wanted to get involved with something with a strong customer service ethos but also wanted to do something that would make a real difference to peoples’ lives. Home Instead was the perfect opportunity to do both. Ben is now happy to find himself in the heart of the community, co-ordinating the service provided to an ever growing number of clients.
Kelly Hockett - Care Manager
Kelly lives locally and has been involved in the local community all her life. Her previous professional roles included teaching assistant at various schools in Waltham Forest and health care assistant with both Boots and the NHS.
Kelly initially joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver and over time progressed to a scheduler role and, later, to Care Co-ordinator. When the vacancy for Care Manager came along, Kelly jumped at the opportunity, she is now responsible for the safety and quality of our service, amongst other things!
