Happy & Safe Staff, Equals Happy & Safe Clients
A Norwich based home-care company has been given the thumbs up by its CAREGivers as a safe and positive company to work for, according to a recent independent satisfaction survey.
Home Instead Senior Care Norwich, which specialises in at-home care for older people, has received the seal of approval as an employer, with 100% of its staff saying they feel proud to work for Home Instead.
Each year the company conducts an independent and confidential survey which looks at various aspects of working for the company, to ensure that CAREGivers feel valued, supported, and are happy in their work.
Even during the recent difficult times with Covid-19, the survey found that the company has been keeping its staff feeling protected and happy, with 95% of CAREGivers saying they felt safe at work. With all the various restrictions which have been put in place during lockdown, Home Instead Norwich has ensured the safety of its staff and clients by providing additional training and equipment.
They also found that 96% of CAREGivers say that any changes to their work routine due to the coronavirus threat were communicated clearly, and that they felt they had the tools and equipment they needed. Furthermore, 96% of CAREGivers said they were confident their boss would continue to take the right steps to see them through the coronavirus outbreak.
Delighted with the findings, Chris Carter, owner of Home Instead Norwich, said: “We take time to care, both for our clients and our CAREGivers, and are committed to providing safe and comfortable environments for our CAREGivers to work in, so it is great to know that we are getting it right. We are so pleased to know that our CAREGivers feel safe and have remained so positive during these uncertain times.”
Chris added: “The results endorse the difference Home Instead is making to the lives of clients and CAREGivers in Norwich and the surrounding areas every day. Something we feel honoured to do.”
