Each year Home Instead tries to support a local charity or organisation around Christmas time to give back to the local community. This year we wanted to focus on our younger generation and do something a little bit different!

The Salvation Army collect and distribute Christmas presents to children and young people in Northampton, who otherwise would not receive a present through the festive period. Social workers get involved and select families deemed to need support and decide where the gifts go. We believe that every child deserves presents at Christmas, so we have decided to get involved and do our bit!

Can we ask that you all donate a gift and bring to the Home Instead office? The gift should be for a child aged 0 – 16 years. This should be gift wrapped and within the name tag, please specify the age group and gender that your gift would be best suited to. The cut-off date is Monday 13th December to deliver these to us. We will then deliver them to the allocated drop off spot. You do not need to spend lots of money on this.

All contributions will be greatly received.

If you are reading this on our website and would like to donate a gift yourself, either pop by our office where our Elves can deliver it on your behalf  or drop in at the Salvation Army Shop.  Please support us by donating to a child that is less fortunate than others.
