To this extent we are making valuable links with many community and business organisations which helps us to be further aware of the services and opportunities that are available to our clients. We service a large section of Liverpool, from Maghull, Crosby, Blundellsands,Waterloo, Hightown, Melling and Lydiate, Litherland, Bootle and Aintree, Walton, Anfield and Kensington, The City Centre and other areas in between. We like to pride ourselves on quick response to any requests and are always willing to pass on our knowledge to whoever may require it.
The Liverpool Central & North office of Home Instead opened its doors in September 2010. We pride ourselves in being part of a network providing the highest quality of at-home care across the world. This vast network of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm means that we are able to offer our clients an at-home care service of the highest order.
We established the Home Instead office in Liverpool Central & North after being impressed by the ethos and commitment of the Home Instead National Office and other offices we visited, it was clear that the people there clearly had caring at the heart of the business and our desire to run a family business was one they shared. We appreciate the ideal that every effort should be made to provide continuity of care by means of the client seeing the same CAREGiver for each call whenever possible.
We knew the difficulties in sourcing credible and reliable at-home care and felt we could do something to help people in Central and North Liverpool and South Sefton so this brought us to Home Instead, who offered a real compassionate and dignified service. Having been born and bred locally we are both well aware of the needs of the area, and having the opportunity to be a part of something that can positively transform a person’s life fills us with pride and passion.
Our minimum call is 1 hour, as we believe that quality at-home care cannot be provided in anything less. This enables us to form a close relationship with our clients in providing a person centred care service which is built around the requirements of each individual, this can vary from assistance with shopping trips or appointments, to social engagements and meal preparations, and much, much more – we like to believe that we have CAREGivers who will have no trouble attending to clients every need whether it is one hour a day or 24/7.
That is because our CAREGivers’ are carefully chosen for their empathy and nurturing qualities, they are selected for their caring and respectful approach to the elderly, their reliability and willingness to match their valuable skills with the excellent training that Home Instead has to offer. They encourage, stimulate and assist clients in a variety of day to day activities to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Naturally we also undertake enhanced checks and have a requirement of six references before training begins. We believe that investment in our CAREGivers will lead to the provision of a high quality service and a contented, happy work force. Our office is proud to have developed a method of call planning for our caregivers that has resulted in a fantastic 96% positive response to the change and happier more rested and better remunerated staff, this method has been copied and adapted by several other Home Instead offices to great effect.
