Sarah - Managing Director
Hi, I’m Sarah and I am the Managing Director of Home Instead Guildford & Woking. Being part of this incredible and client focused franchise has been one of the most humbling experiences in my career.
Giving back to a community where so many desperately need our help and just need that extended family feeling has embraced everything I feel passionate about outside work. I have always felt that enveloping the family culture is really important. Watching your children grow, becoming young adults and then making families of their own gives you a sense of pride and contentment and to extend this feeling to our clients, expands my very rooted family traditions. There will always be trials and tribulations in families but to encourage that unity is the ethos of Home Instead and I am incredibly lucky to be part of it.
When I’m not at work, I love exercise, gardening and dog walking with Brodie and Phido.
Joe - Operations Manager
Hi I’m Joe, I’m the Operations Manager at Home Instead Guildford & Woking. I came from a Finance and Care background before joining Home Instead in my current role and have occupied various different management positions within these industries.
My focus is very much centred around the entire operational experience for both our clients and our CAREGivers as well as office based staff and supporting them with growing the business.
Outside of the workplace, I’m very much about spending time with my wife and two amazing kids.

Hazel - Recruitment Manager
Hi, my name is Hazel, and I'm the Recruitment Manager.
My role is very varied; some days I'm in the office and other days I'm out and about in the community.
I love meeting new people, chatting with them and finding out about their experiences in life, which is why this role is perfect for me as I get to meet and learn more about our potential CAREGivers.
You will normally find me in the office laughing or smiling about something that's tickled my fancy... normally something I've said or done!
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets; making memories for the future as that's what life is all about.
My other passion is cake making and creating sugar flowers, I find it very therapeutic.

Chloe - Care Co-ordination Manager
Hi, I’m Chloe and I’m the Care Coordination Manager for the Guildford & Woking office of Home Instead. I am assisted by Kelly, Sophie and Michelle in the busy but rewarding role of scheduling. I rota our CAREGivers every week to ensure they have the hours they are available to work and that our clients receive a regular and high level of service. Our clients enjoy seeing the same people and I will do everything possible to make sure this is the case. The role is challenging when dealing with absences and sickness but thanks to the hard work and flexibility of our team, we always find a way! There is a real sense of accomplishment when completing a schedule and ensuring that all our calls are covered for the week. I have three children and a husband in the Army which can require as much organisational and time-keeping skills as my Home Instead role! I love working for Home Instead and being the point-of-call for clients and staff. It’s a great place to work and I would recommend the business to everyone, I just wish people would stop bringing so many cakes into the office!
Kelly - Care Co-ordinator
Hi, my name is Kelly. I am a Care Co-ordinator for the Scheduling team at Home Instead. I come from a care working background working with people with a variety of different care needs. Here at Home Instead I work alongside the Care Co-ordination Manager completing the CAREGivers' schedules each week and making sure clients get the CAREGivers and timeslots that they desire to fit in with their day-to-day routine.
I have a four-year-old son and I am engaged to be married, hopefully soon. The boys and my little dog named Peppa take up most of my free time out of work and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being silly and playing games with my family is my favourite thing to do. Everyone at Home Instead has been very welcoming and made me feel like part of the team already.
Michelle - Care Co-ordinator
Hi, I’m Michelle and I’m the newest member of the Scheduling team at Home Instead Guildford & Woking.
I have eight years of experience in the Care sector and have always enjoyed meeting and talking to people. Scheduling is a challenging but rewarding role and I work closely with both our clients and Caregivers to ensure everyone knows where and when they need to be and keep appointments and timekeeping running smoothly.
When I’m not working, I like to see my family, spend time with my partner and walk our dog Liam the Lurcher. I also enjoy going to my Dad’s musical gigs and having a good dance!
Alix - Deputy Care Manager
Hi, my name is Alix, I joined Home Instead Senior Care seven years ago when I wanted to go back to work full-time after my sons had grown up. I worked as a CAREGiver to start with, which I loved. I was then promoted to a Senior. In 2017 I was 'CAREGiver of the year' for Guildford and Woking and came in the top 12 in the national competition. Following this I was asked to take over the training so I became the Training Manager.
Tammy - Field Supervisor
Hi, my name is Tammy and I am new to the Home Instead Senior Care team. I have recently joined as a Field Supervisor, working with my colleagues to make sure our CAREGivers and clients are supported as best they can be. I have over 25 years of experience in working within the care industry.
I have two grown up sons and all our family loves rugby. I also enjoy live music and spending time with loved ones. I’m really enjoying my new role and have been made to feel welcome and part of the team, it’s like a big family!
Cristina - Field Supervisor
Hello, I'm Cristina and I'm one of the Field Supervisors at Home Instead Guildford & Woking. I started off as a CAREGiver before being offered this position. The main focus of my role is to ensure our CAREGivers on the front line are as supported as well as can be and I also liaise with clients to help with any issues or concerns they may have.
In my free time I love reading and spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about animal welfare and my dream is to open an animal shelter. I have two cats which I rescued and they are very spoiled!
Amanda - Field Supervisor
Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a caring and compassionate person and I love working for Home Instead. I started with the company as a CAREGiver and have now joined the office as a Field Supervisor. My role is to assist the busy Care Management team in their day-to-day tasks. Meeting so many lovely people has been one of the most rewarding ventures in my life.
Vicki - Field Supervisor
Hi, I’m Vicki and I am a Field Supervisor. I have worked for Home Instead Guildford & Woking as a CAREGiver since 2016 and at the start of 2021 I received a promotion and joined the office team. I work alongside and support the Care team and in the completion of service for clients, and assist other staff members to provide the highest quality service to clients. I loved working as a CAREGiver for the company, building strong relationships with my clients over the years, and now I am bringing my knowledge from being out in the field to the office team.
I am married with three young children, so most of my spare time is taken up with family life!
Dawn- Office Administrator
Hi, my name is Dawn. I am one of the office administrators and the newest member of the team.
I have worked as a receptionist/office administrator for the past 17 years in various industries, but never have I been made to feel as welcome as I have at Home Instead. The office staff and caregivers are some of the warmest people I have ever worked with.
At the weekend I am a girl of two halves. If you don’t find me at home, quietly listening to my vinyl or my head in a book, you will find me out galivanting with my friends and family. And to be sure, coming from a large Irish family, there’s a lot of galivanting to be had!
Jess - Office Administrator
Hi, my name’s Jess and I’m the Office Administrator at Home Instead Guildford & Woking. My role is to welcome visitors to the office, receive phone calls and generally support the rest of the team.
I have a background in customer service, and hearing customers stories and experiences is something I loved most in those jobs. The values of Home Instead is something that I strongly resonate with, so being welcomed to the team is something I’m very proud of.
I grew up by the ocean, in a small seaside town called Lyme Regis, and moved to Guildford for University. I decided to stay here long-term as I love the area. I love being outdoors, increasing my ever-growing collection of indoor plants, and singing whenever I get the chance! My favourite music is soul and jazz.

Some of caregivers have worked hard to obtain their NVQ 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and we have many Caregivers signing up to the new QCF which has replaced the NVQ. Our CAREGivers also work towards a City and Guilds certificate in Dementia Care.

I am Ex-Sergeant Brodie, Home Instead’s elite Security Force Member. I was positioned in the unique role within this prestigious home care establishment to ensure that grounds are monitored, staff members and clients are protected at all times and security is maintained 24/7 (unless I’m asleep).
My service on the force commenced over three years ago after establishing my DBS (Dog Barking Service) award when barracked in the Royal Woof Force. I come highly credited with a long serving background in protecting fellow humans from all other species. I inspect the grounds at scheduled points of the day and have a strictly professional relationship with my employers.
Caring for humans and protecting my work place is the only objective in being a respected part of the Force.
Humans come first. Period.
Phido - Brodie's very noisy assistant
I'm Phido Brodie's very noisy assistant. When I'm allowed into the office, I am known to lick people and bark alot at people I don't know. So come into the office and make yourself known to me.
