Registered Care Manager and Director
Hello, I am Andrea Hampshire the proud owner of Homeinstead Senior Care, Godalming territory.
I have worked more than 20 years for different multinational FMCG companies before I decided that I would run my own business. I wanted to do something more meaningful and satisfying in the rest of my life.
What could be better than supporting the elderly in my local community and also to become one of the best employers of Waverley.
I am extremely proud of our CAREGivers and colleauges in the office who all have great passion for helping others and they always do the extra miles for our Clients.
This is what makes us different from other care providers.
I am aiming to create 50 new, local care jobs annually across Godalming, Haslemere, Cranleigh, Pulborough, Billinghurst, Petworth.
My journey of caring for older people began at age 13. By chance, I met a lady who was standing outside her rather imposing looking care home. She told me that nobody ever went to see her, so I started to make regular visits and she loved my company, we talked for hours. But what was also special, that I enjoyed the experience just as much as she did. Ever since then I’ve had lots of valued friendships with older people, we all have so much to learn from each other.
Negative stories about the care industry have always stuck with me as well, so I decided to take a fresh approach and do things differently. It’s an absolute privilege to be making it my own business to care for our older generation.
If you or your family member need quality care to remain independent at home, I would love to find you a companion who can assist you with your needs and help you live the life you want.
Please do get in touch!
I feel very proud to join the Home Instead Senior Care family and being part of the Godalming Team. I have been working in the care industry for over 15 years working from being a CAREGiver in different fields and working my way to the role of Care Manager, a role that I have been in for about 7 years.
Care has always been in my blood and part of my life as my mother has worked in care all her life and taught me the values and respect that I carry with me today. I strive to provide the best possible service and always looking for different ways to improve the support and finding more valuable experiences for people.
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me at home with my family or going on days out and enjoying the fresh air of West Sussex, where I have lived all my life and cannot think of a better place to live.
Part time Admin and Care Coordinator
Hi Everyone, I am very pleased to be invited to join the office team at Home Instead Senior Care, Godalming. I have spent many years as a CAREGiver in all types of situations and I am experienced in domiciliary care. I am thoroughly enjoying this new challenge and putting all my organisational skills to use. I enjoy administration and putting together effectively the scheduling for the CAREGivers within the context of care coordination. It is very satisfying to make sure all of our clients have their visits when they need them and I thoroughly enjoy communicating with all our wonderful CAREGivers and fulfilling their availability to their satisfaction. It is a win win! :)

Hello! My name is Chloe and I’m very proud and excited to now be part of the Godalming family at Home Instead.
After leaving Sixth Form where I was specialising in finance I didn’t know where I wanted to go in life so took up caring as a temporary job in the summer and I have never looked back. Care has been my passion for seven years, it’s in my family and I’m proud to say after working hard I qualified in my Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care back in January 2020.
I’m most excited about getting to know every caregiver individually and mentoring them in this journey while providing the best standard of care possible and changing individuals lives.
When I’m not at work I’m at home in Farnham tidying up after a sassy three year old daughter or spending time with my family and friends.
Vanessa is one of our fantastic CAREGivers. Here is her story.
I have had horses all my life although my family are not horsey at all! On leaving school I worked as a riding teacher and then I went to work training horses and carriages. My main career was in the police force and I remained there as a Constable for 30 years. I retired in 2017 and then decided I had more to give and wanted to work with the elderly and I found Home Instead and I have worked with them since November 2018. I love the work and find it hugely rewarding and fulfilling. The office are supportive and responsive.
Claire is one of our rising stars and is fairly new to CAREGiving - she told us how surprised she was by how much she loves the role! Here is her story.
"I was a Dental Hygienist for many years before becoming a CAREGiver so I have always enjoyed working in a caring role. I love the 'great outdoors' especially walking and often takes on a charity challenges. I am also an Indian Head massage therapist and would like to study Reflexology in the future. One of the things I love most about working for Home Instead is knowing that I have made a difference to people's days which I find incredibly rewarding."
