Introducing... Training & Support at Home Instead

At Home Instead we pride ourselves on the relationships that we build with our CAREGivers, and the tailor-made support that is given. We recognise, and realise, that you don’t know what you don’t know, and whilst mistakes may happen, we always focus on the positives and on how you can learn from those mistakes.

We know that each CAREGiver is on an individual journey. For you, this could mean that care is a new venture or perhaps you are an experienced carer looking for a different approach to care. Whatever your starting point with Home Instead, training and support will look different for everyone - all we ask is for an open and honest approach.

'Training and Support' at Home Instead is a team of five members, that provide CAREGiver support with anything that you need. This could involve extra tuition around personal care, or guidance around medication, food hygiene - and everything in between.

Within the first 16 weeks of working at Home Instead, you will meet with the Training and Support team for a mixture of support visits and 'One to One’s', so that you have an opportunity to discuss how things are going. These meetings also offer us a lovely opportunity to provide personalised support. Support visits and 'One to One’s' are the perfect time for you to discuss any concerns that you may have, and we then plan together to alleviate these worries. We always say, there is no such thing as a silly question - and we mean that. You can find out a little more, HERE.

The Recruitment and Training & Support team members are the first people that you will meet when joining Home Instead, and together we will guide you on your way to becoming a fully fledged CAREGiver.

CAREGiving is an amazing role. The satisfaction that comes with supporting clients in their own home, and enabling them to remain as independent as possible, is just wonderful. This could be anything from assisting with daily living, to going out to the beach and enjoying an ice cream... there really are endless possibilities for good times and great rewards.

If you think that you would be interested in this role, please get in contact with us and discuss your next steps. Take a look around our Facebook page, visit our Website or give us a call on 01395 200600, to find out more.
