Joanna has worked for Home Instead Edinburgh since 2012, her current role is community networking. She believes passionately that working with and speaking to as many people as possible about Home Instead will in return find us the very best people to support our clients.

Beth joined Home Instead in 2019. She started as a recruitment administrator apprentice and is now our Head of Caregiver Experience. Her role is to help caregivers through their own employment journeys. Beth strives to employ caregivers who best fit our values and culture.

Joan joined Home Instead in 2017 as our Scheduler. She has 30 years’ experience in the care industry, as a career in recruitment and in scheduling roles. She strives for the best match between care professional and client, so our clients receive the best service possible.

Karen has worked in the care industry for 25 years prior to joining Home Instead in 2022. She is now working towards her SVQ 4. Karen believes that Care should be about building relationships, promoting independence, and having empathy for our clients.

The Caregivers provide Mum with companionship, they help with her evening meals and medication, they walk her dog and help to keep the house clean and tidy. There have been times they have gone above and beyond – driving Mum and her cat to the vet, keeping Mum safe and finding a solution when Mum locked herself out her house, and embroidering the most beautiful flower patch to cover the hole of Mum’s favourite cardigan!
