To us it is personal

Our February CAREGiver of the month goes to: Leanne Burton. Leanne has only worked for Home Instead Senior Care Sawbridgeworth since December 2012 but during her short employment Leanne has supported a number of clients in the community. She is very person centred in her outlook and she always ensures that the client is at the centre of the care that she provides. Leanne is very well liked by all her clients and their families.

In January Leanne went that extra mile when she administered CPR to one of her clients. Unfortunately this client passed away and as much as she would have loved to have spent time with the client's family, she was determined not to let her other clients' down, who were relying on her visit. Leanne is a role model for all our new CAREGivers and a real ambassador for Home Instead Senior Care.

Leanne said, “I was so surprised to get the award for CAREGiver of the month. I am truly honoured, thank you.”

David Bassett commented, “Firstly I would like to send my sympathies to the family and friends of Leanne's client who passed away. Leanne was extremely fond of this client and she did everything she could, she definitely went that extra mile. I'm delighted that her commitment to her clients' is being recognised, she really does deserve this award”.
