Home Instead work closely with Careline who provide assistive technology to help people stay safe in their home and to summon help when they have had an accident. For people who live alone it is a major help. The Careline Office in Clacton has opened an assistive technology showroom to showcase the great gadgets and aids on offer. Some of the aids, such as the careline pendants and watches, have undergone a designer effect transformation and look like classy dress jewelry rather than aids. Below are some photos from the opening on the 3rd June 2015 to which this office was very pleased to be invited. They had a celebrity to open the showroom, Paul Barber from Only Fools and Horses alongside the Mayor and a wide range of representatives from the local community as the fire service, ACE, community agents and Alzheimer Society. At this Home Instead we train our CAREGivers to remind clients to wear their Careline Pendants and we help to check their control units are working.
