Care Assistant - Part Time

Job Description

Joining our dynamic and supportive team of CAREGivers in Chester, you will be providing a variety of non-medical care services to help our clients stay independent in their own home. Typical care duties may include:

  • Companionship
  • Meal preparation
  • Light household duties
  • Support with shopping and errands
  • Assistance with dressing
  • Assistance with personal care.
  • Administering medication

Qualifications

Previous experience or particular qualifications are not required to become a CAREGiver with Home Instead, as full training and support are provided. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.

To be successful you must:

  • Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and respectful.
  • Enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle are preferable.
