The Chester and Ellesmere Port Office of Home Instead Senior Care have helped to raise nearly £150 of funds that they will be donating to Macmillan Cancer Research. A Coffee morning was organised by Co Owner, Sue Broadbent on Friday 29th September in conjunction with the national initiative by Macmillan to raise funds on a UK basis.
All the Office Team were present at the morning as well as several of our experienced Caregivers, some of whom baked cakes to supplement the ones that Sue had prepared. Sue said ‘we felt it appropriate that as a company which provides care at home in the local community ,we should support such a worthy cause. Many of our highly skilled and trained Caregivers have personally supported people with palliative and end of life care at home.
This is something we have vast experience with over many years, and our Caregivers find rewarding. It therefore seemed fitting that many of our Caregivers came along, had a nice chat and cup of coffee with a piece of cake, whilst helping us to raise these funds’
