Care at home specialist in the Chester and Ellesmere Port area, Home Instead Senior Care recently gave a talk to the local Stroke Association aimed at educating people about scams. Owners Chris and Sue Broadbent gave the talk at Upton Methodist Church near Chester to the August monthly meeting of the Stroke Association. There were over 20 attendees and the story drew the attention of the Chester Leader, who put the article in the paper.
Speaking after the short presentation, Sue said ‘ we look after over 130 vulnerable people in Chester and Ellesmere Port. We support them with over 70 highly dedicated and trained CAREGiver staff. We could not provide this support without the excellent CAREGivers who deliver our very personalised care to older people in their own homes.
We train all our staff to help protect them from the criminals who are trying to scam them on a weekly basis. It only makes sense that we spread this message in the local community. We are more than happy to talk to all such groups ,and have done talks to over 600 people in the last 18 months, in the local Chester and Ellesmere Port area.
