Possibly the most popular cafe in Beckenham, Rendez Vous Caffe is an institution in the borough, with a very loyal customer base. Located just off Beckenham High Street on the A2015, the café is easily accessible by public transport and there is ample parking in the town centre

From tea and toast, through to American style pancakes, and of cause the classic Full English, there really is something for everyone. The numerous 5 start reviews on Trip Advisor really showcases just how popular the café is, with many commenting on how welcoming and friendly the staff are, as well as comments on the great quality food.

Wratten’s Gift shop and Café, Chislehurst

A gift shop with a café!  Two of our favourite things under one roof. In the heart of Chislehurst, you’ll find the fabulous Wratten’s, renowned for their delicious bacon butties and excellent coffee. This is a hidden gem that can’t be recommended enough. The owner is passionate about the home cooked food she serves and the service she gives.

Give Cafe at Wratten’s a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Omega Café, Coney Hall

A place close to our heart here at Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst, and Orpington, as they are just a couple of doors down from the office. The Omega Café is a family ran café which has been in business for over 30 years.  We’ll often be found there on Friday morning, getting a “posh” coffee as an end-of-week teat along with a cheeky sausage sandwich!

Always busy, but always friendly, the café warm and bright, and has a huge range of breakfast options, from a healthy poached egg on wholemeal bread, through to a massive cooked breakfast, there really is something to for all tastes.

Poached, Beckenham

By many accounts, Poached in Beckenham serves the very best coffee in the area and their food is freshly produced onsite. The pictures on their website alone is enough to make you mouth water! Serving artisan sourdough bread, and freshly prepared treats, this is a lovely spot to stop for a celebratory breakfast.

Poached started out in 2017 as a small family ran business and has now expanded across two sites in East Dulwich and in Beckenham. You’ll find Poached restaurant just a short walk from Beckenham Junction train station.

The Orpington Café and Record Store, Orpington

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of Orpington. Combining classic breakfast dishes with local produce, The Orpington is a lovely venue, incorporating a second hand-record shop at the back of the restaurant, which is surprisingly fitting with the laid back yet classy interior.

Just around the corner from The Walnuts shopping centre on Orpington High Street, The Orpington serves a lovely selection of pastries and their coffee is outstanding. If you are planning a special birthday breakfast, you can even hire their private dining room!
