Vaccinations Rolled Out To Home Instead CAREGivers

All eligible CAREGivers and frontline office staff have now received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.

All members of staff were delighted to be offered the vaccination, which was administered by the Betsi Cadwaladr team at the Deeside Rainbow Hospital, now being utilised as a major vaccination hub for North East Wales.

Matthew Murray-James, Owner at Home Instead Wrexham & Flintshire said: “Throughout the pandemic, our CAREGivers have worked their absolute hardest to protect our clients and ensure their safety and wellbeing.  The fact that each and every CAREGiver has chosen to be vaccinated shows their dedication to keeping our clients safe.

We are now looking to ensure that all our clients receive the vaccination, with many of them having had their first dose already.  It’s a fantastic feeling to be involved in the vaccination rollout and we hope that by us all having a degree of immunity, this will mark the beginning of an eventual return to normality.”

Vaccinations are currently being rolled out to all eligible groups in North Wales – in the majority of cases you will receive an NHS letter or receive a phone call from your GP.
If you are in the top priority group (over 80) but haven’t yet received an invitation to attend, you are advised to either speak to your GP or call the local vaccination centre on 03000 840004.    Please do not call if you are not yet eligible – you will be invited for your vaccination in due course.
