Wrexham Memory Walk 2020

The team from Home Instead Wrexham and Flintshire took part in the Wrexham Memory Walk this weekend, helping to raise more than £250 for charity.

The annual walk is part of the Alzheimer’s Society’s campaign to raise awareness of dementia and to help support those who are living with the condition.
As specialist dementia care providers, Home Instead are always keen to support the work of the charity, and the Memory Walk is an annual occurrence for the team in Wrexham.

Whilst in past years, the walk has attracted many people from the local community to unite together in aid of dementia, this year’s event was a little more low-key than usual due to Covid rules in place.
The Alzheimer’s Society asked people to do this year’s walk “Your Way” so instead of the large numbers seen in the past, smaller groups took part in a much more socially-distanced way.

The weather was very kind to us, it was an absolute pleasure to walk around Erddig National Trust for a brilliant cause.
