Queens Award For Innovation

“So proud to be part of a Nationally Recognised Award Winning Home Care provider.” Matthew Murray-James Owner of Home Instead.

Home Instead Wrexham and Flintshire East are part of a network of over 170 Home Care providers who have been awarded Nationally the Queens Award for Innovation.   As the owner of Home Instead Wrexham and Flintshire East I recently attended the awarding ceremony at Addlington Hall in Cheshire. It is a great honour to not only be able to deliver the best quality care visits at home in Wrexham and Flintshire but to also be part of a National network that has been recognised with such a prestigious award

.

.” Recognising the contribution Home Instead has made, the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire David Briggs, said: “The Queen has been so impressed with your single-minded determination to give the elderly what they want - to cherish or dare I say to love and to truly care for them - and for that you are today presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

“You have also understood that one of the biggest killers is loneliness and so you are not just there to clean or to cook or to change the person being cared for - but they are there as a friend and they spend time talking to and getting to know the client - they develop a relationship and become a friend. And it is for that that you have an award for innovation – relationship care – matching the carer to the client and of course making sure that the same carer sees the same client over a long period”

This award not only sets Home Instead as a Home Care provider of choice but adds to the other awards we have one nationally:

  • Princess Royal Award for Training
  • Rated as the No1 Home Care Specialist for Quality 2014,2015, 2016 (Laing Buisson)
  • Best Employers in Care Award 2016/2017

And most recently recognised locally as a Dementia Friendly Business by Dementia Friendly Mold.
