CAREGiver Training

Specialised training in senior care for our clients in Wrexham and Flintshire

Our specialised training equips all of our CAREGivers with the professional knowledge to take care of people in their later life and with an understanding of the associated conditions of ageing which can affect activities of daily living. This includes all CAREGivers completing the All Wales Induction Framework (AWIF) and Welsh Passport in Person Moving and Handling, as shown in the photos. 

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Expertise.

our unique Alzheimer's and dementia CARE training has been designed and developed by experts in the field of dementia and ageing.  It follows an innovative technique in helping to improve the quality of life of people with the condition.  It means CAREGivers can complete the training program, which is City & Guilds accredited, to become qualified to care for people with dementia.  Our training is recognised as industry leading and is highlighted as best practice by the Department of Health Skills for Care.

Other Training 

We provide a range of additional training to our team of CAREGivers, including Parkinson's and Huntington's Disease training, along with specialist sessions on Nutrition, Hydration including PEG feeding. CAREGivers are also made familiar with continence products, colostomy bags and other products.

We want you to feel confident and safe with the CAREGivers who will be provide care, so we undertake extensive checks on potential recruits.  CAREGivers are always introduced to clients and our aim is to find a great match in personality and interests, so that there is common ground for conversion and care.
