WHAT IS IT?

#BeASanta is a gift giving scheme. It’s a way of giving back to the local community by spreading joy and festive cheer to individuals who may not feel loved at Christmas. The objective is to positively impact the lives of seniors in your community.
We ask the general public to donate a small gift e.g. Biscuits, Winter Socks, Chocolates, Selection Boxes, Cakes to our collection point, all the gifts will be Christmas wrapped by our team at Home Instead senior Care and we will donate to our chosen charity and to elderly patients in the Wrexham Mealor who are admitted over Christmas.

Be a Santa to a Senior (BASTAS) was first introduced by Home Instead in the US in 2006. It started small with only a few gifts being distributed to residents at a local nursing home. Since then, Home Instead has helped provide 1.2 million gifts to more than 700,000 older people.
The campaign was launched in the UK in 2012, with many offices across the Home Instead network taking part and nearly 1000 presents were donated and delivered to older people
