Be A Santa to A Senior 2019

We are pleased to have launched our Be A Santa to a Senior gift-giving scheme for 2019!

We will be at Marks & Spencers at Eagles Meadow, Wrexham from 5th – 7th December where you can come and donate a gift to our collection point in store.

What is Be a Santa to a Senior?

Be a Santa to a Senior is our annual gift-giving scheme.  It’s a way for us to give back to our local community and bring some joy and festive cheer to those people who may be along at Christmas, and may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive a gift.

Loneliness and isolation can have a huge impact on the lives of senior and these feelings can be exacerbated at this time of year, and especially over the festive period.

We ask the general public and local organisations to donate just a small gift e.g. a box of biscuits, winter socks or slipper, chocolates or sweets, a scarf to our collection.  These gifts will be wrapped by our team at Home Instead and will be distributed to elderly people within the local community through a variety of different charities as well as the local hospital, Wrexham Maelor.

You can donate at the collection point at Marks and Spencers, Eagles Meadow during the following times:

Thursday 5th December 9.30am - 2.30pm

Friday 6th December 9.30am - 2.30pm

Saturday 7th December 11.30am - 2.30pm

Alternatively or you can drop off at one of our offices in Gresford or Buckley.  We also have a donation point at Crown Buildings in Wrexham.

If you know of an individual or community group who would benefit from receiving a gift this Christmas, then please contact [email protected] with the details.
