Celebrating 1 Million Hours Of Care

On 4th April we celebrated providing our Millionth hour of care since opening our doors in 2007.

Our Client, Layla, and CAREGiver Karen, were over the moon when our Care Managers, Mary Jordan and Jayne Ward, surprised them during that magical millionth hour at Layla's home. Both were presented with a certificate and a bouquet of flowers to mark the event.

On the 12th April we celebrated in style at Hulme Hall in the historic and picturesque village of Port Sunlight in the heart of Wirral. We enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment from The North West Charity Singers and a delicious afternoon tea.

We were joined by some of our wonderful clients, CAREGivers, friends and guests from local charities together with Martin Jones, Managing Director of Home Instead UK.

At 2pm with an announcement from the local Town Crier, Mr Carl Leckey, the Mayor (Councillor Geoffrey Watt) and Mayoress (Mrs  Anne Watt) of Wirral joined in the celebration.

Franchise owners Catharine and Mike Chalton, along with the Mayor and Mayoress, took to the stage to thank everyone who has supported us over the years and, again, to congratulate our Client and CAREGiver of the millionth hour.

Along with The NW Charity Singers who entertained everyone with songs from times gone by and renditions on their ukuleles, there were plenty of activities for the children including Face painting and an Easter craft table. We also had an old fashioned sweet cart and a fabulous selfie mirror which was enjoyed by all.
