There are over 300 MS Society groups run by volunteers working alongside local staff. The services they offer include: emotional, practical and financial support information and social events They also raise millions every year to help people affected by MS.
Wirral Society for the Blind and Partially Sighted is a local independant charity that support blind and partially sighted people locally. They have a centre based in Birkenhead that runs and extensive range of inclusive activities and classes to engage those with sight problems. They also offer an advice service and can assist people who are newly diagnosed as well as those who have had sight problems since birth. This year Home Instead Senior Care Wirral were delighted to sponsor the Awards at the Awards dinner which was held in October at Prenton Golf Club.
