Part-Time CAREGivers - Have Car Will Travel !
Home Instead is the world's leading provider of non-medical companionship based care in the community and has over 160+ offices nationwide. The Welwyn & Hatfield office is now looking to recruit additional people to join our fabulous team of CAREGivers who look after our elderly client's in their own homes within their community.
We are looking to recruit CAREGivers to enable us to grow and face the challenges that 2021 will no doubt bring. We are facing those challenges with confidence because we know that our CAREGivers are highly trained, exceptionally skilled, and really do pour their heart and soul into the caring of our elderly clients.
We look after people who reside in the following locations : Borehamwood, Brookmans Park, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Welham Green, Welwyn and Welwyn Garden City and are looking to recruit part-time staff who can travel within these area's.
It is essential that you have your own 'car', this is because we work in the community and travel between people's homes, and are not just going to one destination daily - This is non-negotiable.
By working together we can make 2021 an exceptionally good year for our client's and for our CAREGivers. After all, can you think of a better way than to start the forthcoming year with a new job? working with people who really recognize your worth, and who look forward to seeing you each day.
Our CAREGivers work in the community and like District Nurses they travel around a specific geographic area visiting each client and this means that a car is essential. CAREGivers also take clients to Hospital and Doctor's appointments, take them shopping and when able, to social events - this means that CAREGivers have to be mobile, flexible and agile in their working environment.
Each day differs because we assist and support our clients in whatever task they need help with. This may involve personal care (helping wash and dress), home help (light housework and meal preparation), companionship (taking to appointments or social events). It can also include helping to change continence pads, catheter care, assisting with using the toilet, so adaptability is essential.

If you have these qualities we will place you on our Award Winning Training Scheme and undertake to offer you exceptional training and Continuous Professional Development throughout your career with Home Instead.
We do INSIST that you have your own CAR and that you have clear verbal communication skills. We ferry clients to important appointments so a car is a necessity.
All of our positions are part-time and we like our CAREGivers to have flexible working patterns that will require some evenings and shifts on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate week-ends. Tell us what you would like to do and we will try to work with you where we can.
All positions are subject to four references and successful DBS clearance.
All positions require the CAREGiver to have their own transport.
You will be expected to work in multiple locations on a daily basis.
