Home Instead is the world's leading provider of non-medical companionship based care in the community and has over 160+ offices nationwide. The Welwyn & Hatfield office is now looking to recruit additional people to join our fabulous team of CAREGivers who look after our elderly clients in their own homes within their community.
We are looking to recruit CAREGivers to enable us to grow and face the challenges that 2021 will no doubt bring. We are facing those challenges with confidence because we know that our CAREGivers are highly trained, exceptionally skilled, and really do pour their heart and soul into the caring of our elderly clients.
We look after people who reside in these locations : Borehamwood, Brookmans Park, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Welham Green, Welwyn and Welwyn Garden City and are looking to recruit part-time staff who can travel within these area's.
It is essential that you have your own 'car', this is because we work in the community and travel between people's homes, and are not just going to one destination daily - This is non-negotiable.
By working together we can make 2021 an exceptionally good year for our clients and for our CAREGivers. After all, can you think of a better way than to start the forthcoming year with a new job? working with people who really recognize your worth, and who look forward to seeing you each day.
We are presently recruiting for CAREGivers who can work 10+ hours per week preferably working some mixed shifts covering mornings and evenings and alternate weekend's.
We are seeking people who are flexible, reliable and who enjoy working with the elderly and the responsibility the role requires. You must be able to undertake personal care, meaning assisting your clients to wash & dress, care with continence pads helping to change and sometimes assisting with catheter care. We also require our CAREGivers to assist with light housework, shopping, and be the valued companion that our clients can rely upon.
If you would like further information about the duties then kindly call me on 01707-240650 or email me at: [email protected] and I will be delighted to answer and questions you may have.
We require all of our staff to have their own car and reliable transport as we assist our clients in the community and this means travelling to various destinations daily - this is ESSENTIAL.
We also expect our staff to have clear verbal communication skills as the clients sometime have hearing loss and this can make communication difficult.
You do not need to have previous experience of CAREGiving but we do expect you to be able to show us that you are reliable and caring and are keen to make a career of CAREGiving.
We offer Award Winning Training and we ensure that all our CAREGivers are highly trained in all the latest techniques and offer them Continuous Professional Development throughout their career with us at Home Instead, Welwyn & Hatfield.
All of our positions are part-time and we like our CAREGivers to have flexible working patterns that will require some evenings and shifts on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate week-ends. Tell us what you would like to do and we will try to work with you where we can.
All positions are subject to four references and successful DBS clearance.
All positions require the CAREGiver to have their own transport.
You will be expected to work in multiple locations on a daily basis.
