Part-Time CAREGiver's - The good life!
Part-Time CAREGiver's - Enjoy the good life in 2021 !
Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical companionship based care in the community and has over 160+ offices nationwide. The Welwyn & Hatfield office is now looking to recruit additional people to join our fabulous team of CAREGivers who look after our elderly clients in their own homes within the community.
We are looking to recruit CAREGivers to enable us to grow and face the challenges that 2021 will no doubt bring. We are facing those challenges with confidence because we know that our CAREGivers are highly trained, exceptionally skilled and really do pour their heart and soul into the caring of our elderly clients.
We are seeking people who value their own skills and recognize that they have transferable skills to offer us and with our Award Winning Training and your own hard work we can make you an exceptional CAREGiver.
It is essential that you have your own Transport, this is because we work in the community and that means travelling between people's homes, and not just going to one destination daily.
By working together we can make 2021 an exceptionally good year for our clients and for our CAREGivers. After all, can you think of a better way than to start the forthcoming year with a new job working with people who really recognize your worth and who look forward to seeing you each day?
The good life is working in a role that makes you want to get up in the mornings and get to work to see what the day brings, working for Home Instead Senior Care certainly fulfils this desire. As a CAREGiver you are never quite sure what each day will bring, after all you are dealing with people and their needs can change by the hour. The one thing we can guarantee though is that your support and assistance ensures that the elderly in our community are given the best treatment possible and this allows them to remain in their own homes, where they are happiest for as long as possible.
How do we enable that ?
By supporting their every need, be it personal care where we wash and assist them to dress each morning, perhaps with a little more assistance to change their continence pads or care for the catheter they have fitted ensuring we maintain their dignity at all times. Perhaps it is by helping them with light housework, shopping and feeding the cat ! it could simply be by accomanying them to a hospital appointment, a walk on a summer day or a chat and a nice cup of tea if the weather is not at its best.
Home Instead Senior Care CAREGivers make sure that whatever the client needs are then we comply making their lives much more comfortable and this means that each day has new challenges and new interests for the clients and our CAREGivers.
If you have any questions you would like to ask us about the role and what it involves please feel free to contact me Patricia Eagling on 01707-240650 and I will be happy to answer any queries you may have.
A Car is ESSENTIAL.
We also require our CAREGivers have clear verbal speaking communication skills, very important as some clients have hearing loss and dementia and need to be able to hear and understand instructions.
We require all CAREGivers to work between 10-20 hours on a Part-Time zero hours contract covering morning, evenings and some weekend shifts (alternate weekend's). Let us know what suits you and we will try to accommodate your needs.
We do not need any special qualifications as we offer Award Winning Training and Orientation programme. We just require you to work hard and accept the on-going continuous professional development that you will be offered throughout your career with Home Instead Senior Care.
All of our positions are part-time and we like our CAREGivers to have flexible working patterns that will require some evenings and shifts on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate week-ends. Tell us what you would like to do and we will try to work with you where we can.
All positions are subject to successful DBS clearance.
All positions require the CAREGiver to have their own transport.
