Local Company Receives CQC Approval

Owner of Home Instead in Welwyn and Hatfield, Heather Simms says she feels like Christmas has come early this year after receiving the stamp of approval from the CQC (Care Quality Commission).

The CQC regulate care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations. Their reports give a clear indication that a company is operating as it should, and gives clients confidence that they are choosing a reliable and trustworthy care service.

Heather comments, “We are thrilled to have received a thumbs up from the Care Quality Commission. As we are committed to putting our clients at the centre of everything we do, it is great that they will now have the added peace of mind that our industry regulator is also backing us 100%.”

Home Instead delivers care to clients throughout the local area; care which allows older people to be independent and remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

Heather continues: “We pride ourselves on carefully matching our clients and caregivers to encourage rewarding relationships that allow our clients to live independently for as long as possible. Now we have this recognition from the CQC, we hope to reach even more people in the community and help make their lives easier by providing them with the highest-quality of care.”
