Director - Heather Simms
Hi I’m Heather, owner of the Welwyn & Hatfield office of Home Instead Senior Care. I have two grown up children, Frankii and James and have been married to my husband Chris for over 25 years.
With the support and encouragement of my family and friends I am confident that Home Instead Senior Care can, and will make a real difference to the lives of individuals within our community.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my two dogs and socialising with my family and friends.
Care Manager - Nicola Hollis
Nicola joined Home Instead in 2011 becoming one of our first CAREGivers to join the team! After 2 years as a CAREGiver Nicola left to take some time for herself and returned again in 2013.
In 2014 she joined the Office Team as our Care Coordinator. In November 2017 Nicola took up the position of Deputy Care Manager carrying out our Client Service Calls which involves meeting new prospective Clients and their families and guiding them through the Home Care process and also assisting with all of our current clients requirements.
Nicola has now taken up the role of Care Manager.
Head of CAREGiver Support - Melanie O'Brien
Hi my name is Mel, I am the Head of CAREGiver Support at Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield. I have been in my curent role since May 2018 before that I was a Senior CAREGiver. I have been with Home Instead since March 2016.
My role as Head of CAREGiver support requires me to have an excellent rapport with our team, ensure they all feel supported and that I am there should they have any issues. I undertake all the CAREGiver Support Visits, Supervisions and some of the Client Quality Assurance if required.
Office Manager - Frankii Collinson
Hi my name is Frankii, I handle the day to day running of our office ensuring everything is going smoothly, All Social Media, Website changes and compliance are handled by myself.
I have been with Home Instead since 2012 first joining as the Admin Support. I was recently married in July 2019 and slowly getting use to my new name and married life :)
Care Co-ordinator - Laura Puleston
Laura has been working in the office now for just under a year as our Care Co-ordinator, before taken on this role she was one of our fabulous CAREGiver’s.
Laura’s role is key in ensuring both our Clients and CAREGiver’s are happy with the service, She meets with our new CAREGivers on Induction and then tries to match them up with some of our Clients. Laura is aware of the interests and personalities of our CAREGivers and our Clients. Laura ensures all of our Clients Calls are covered and is excellent at working under pressure.
Community Support Representative - Jane Andrews
Hi, My name is Jane.
I joined Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield in March 2017.
My background includes sales, marketing and social housing. As the Networker for Home Instead my role is to build relationships within the community and to develop marketing and promotional activities.
In my spare time i enjoy socialising, walking my dog Annie and musical theatre.
We are very proud to have a priceless team of dedicated, compassionate and reliable CAREGivers at Home Instead Senior Care Welwyn & Hatfield, all of whom go above and beyond the call of duty to take care of their clients. These are people who genuinely care about the people we support. They work hard to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care and go the extra mile at those times when it really makes a difference.
