Be a Santa to a Senior Christmas 2013

Sharon and Hayley anticipating the 'rush' in Asda

We owe a great debt of gratitude to the customers and staff of the ASDA Supermarket in Sutton for supporting our Christmas Gift Giving appeal in aid of our local branch of Age UK.

Our CAREGivers and office staff manned our display in the foyer for 7 days in December and collected well over 425 donations of personal, as well as food, items from the very generous ASDA customers.

The wrapping took a while but we finally managed to deliver the gifts to Age UK in good time for them to be distributed to many lonely and isolated elderly people in the Borough.

We are also very grateful to the owners and staff of businesses in Sutton Business Centre Wallington and the staff of G4S in Sutton for their support as well.

ASDA were delighted by the success of the scheme and are very keen to get involved again next year. .
