WorkBuzz 5-Star Employer Award
We have some very exciting news! We've achieved the WorkBuzz 5-star Employer Award!
The WorkBuzz 5-Star Employer is awarded to top performing employers based on an annual independent survey completed by all our Care Professionals, Support Team and Clients. The survey offers everyone the chance to have their say on the topics that matter to them the most. The results shape our future plans and strategy here at Home Instead South Lakes to benefit all of our team and Clients. This was the big survey but we also do mini surveys regularly to ensure we are supporting our team in the best way we can! We have implemented a wide variety of changes to enhance workplace culture, retention, training and rewards for our family.
Its extremely important to us to continually monitor and continually improve our service and we work very hard at prioritising the well-being of both our clients and our exceptional team of Care Professionals. We ensure all our Care Professionals are valued and supported and its truly heart-warming that our team feel we are doing a good job and it’s an honour to be recognised for this. Its due to such amazing feedback and very high ‘scores’ from our Care Professionals that we have received this award. We had to ‘score’ over 87% overall and only 15% of companies who do the survey are recognised as a 5-Star Employer!

96% said they can be their true self at work
100% rated the recruitment process!
98% said their job gives them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills
93% said there are opportunities for them to develop their career with us
100% said they had access to all the training they need to do their job well
This award shows that care really is a worthwhile career path to take and also that we, as a company, are living up to our pledge to be different and that we truly value and care for all of our team with factors such as top pay and benefits, (pay up to £17 per hour PLUS travel pay of £13.50 and mileage) minimum one hour visits, Outstanding care top-quality training opportunities, a career path including funded Level 2, 3, 5 and 7 qualifications in health and social care and supportive leadership and a support team and regular social events and team meetings. It also shows that our Clients really are receiving the best care with our Care Professionals who have received the best training and who are happy in their roles.
