Our CAREGivers 

We have a fantastic team of committed, professional, reliable and compassionate CAREGivers.

Many of our team draw on their own past personal experiences to encourage, assist, and stimulate our clients over a wide range of daily activities that help improve their quality of life and help them maintain as much independence as possible.

Our amazing CAREGivers are committed to providing a reliable, compassionate and friendly care service that makes a real difference to our clients' lives. Their thoughtfulness and dedication are inspirational.  They work tirelessly helping our clients retain their dignity whilst remaining independent their own homes. 

They arrive with a smile and friendly welcome for clients and their families.  Many of our CAREGivers entered the care sector because they want to make a difference to lives of the elderly, some of them having cared for loved ones of their own.  Every day they provide comfort, companionship, practical help and personal care.  The quality of our CAREGiver's work remains paramount; they continue to provide support, stimulation and personal care to our clients with absolute dedication and commitment.

In short they are our most valuable assets.

Sarah Slater - Director 

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care Rugby. 
Throughout my working life I have held various positions in different sectors.  My first job was in a residential home when I left school and I went on to join the British Army as a medic. 

I spent several years in retail management and then took some time off with my children and ventured into child care and fostering.  I mainly cared for children with disabilities and challenging behaviour. 

In Christmas 2012 I stumbled across Home Instead and worked for the office in Market Harborough as a Client coordinator.   I vowed never to take a  job in care again as my earlier experience was not very nice. However Home Instead have proved that care can be high quality.

The personalised care that we offer ensures we make a genuine difference to our service users and their families and for the first time ever I enjoyed going to work. 

In November 2013 my mother at only 52 years old lost her battle with cancer.  This made me look at my life again and I decided I wanted to really make a difference and took the leap to buy my own Home Instead Office.  It is a job that i thoroughly enjoy and i have no regrets in my choice. 

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family doing active things like climbing, canyoning, and paint balling.  I enjoy socialising with friends, going out for meals and enjoy a glass of red wine. 

Jason Litwinko  Care Manager  Home Instead Senior Care Rugby

Jason Litwinko - Care Manager

Jason is the Care Manager here at Home Instead Senior Care Rugby. As the only man in the office we feel for him having to listen to our lady conversations. Jason is well liked by staff and clients. He genuinely cares about the service we provide and is always approachable. 

Jason has a level 5 in Health and Social Care, he has spent over 20 years in Management positions and has been involved in the care sector for approx 5 years. 

Jason lives in Rugby with his wife and 4 year old daughter who likes to keep him on his toes and who shares his love of football and cooking. In his spare time Jason likes to cycle and play 5 a side football.

He is committed to providing the highest level of care and really making a difference to peoples everyday lives.

Jo-Ann Chamber Scheduler Home Instead Senior Care Rugby

Jo-Ann Chambers - Scheduler

Jo-Ann joined the team as a scheduler in February 2017. Jo-Ann is responsible for scheduling the clients and sending out the CAREGiver rota's.

Jo-Ann was a private carer before taking on this role with Home Instead. She has over twenty year's experience in care and also looks after her elderly father. 

Jo-Ann aims to complete her NVQ's whilst working with us as she would like to progress with her career. 

Jo-Ann has two teenage children and 2 dogs which keep her busy outside of work as she has the role of dog walker and mum's taxi. 

 

Karen Cox - Quality & Compliance

Karen Cox - Quality & Compliance

Karen joined Home Instead Senior Care in February 2015 as a CAREGiver.  After caring for her Nan, Karen decided that care was something she wanted to try. She has been a fantastic CAREGiver working with several clients until recently applying for the position of Recruitment and Retention Coordinator,  since then Karen has decided to move to the post of Compliance and quality,  

Karen will be responsible for helping all areas of the team maintaining records and ensuring we are compliant for inspections and audits, she also helps the new CAREGivers through the first 12 weeks of their employment and the Care Certificate.

Karen has qualifications and experience in Care, Health and Beauty and Admin.  Karen has completed her NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care. 

Karen likes to spend time with her partner, daughter and socialising with friends. She enjoys going to the cinema, local gym, and looks forward to her holidays abroad each year.

 

Christine Martin - Finance

Christine Martin - Finance

Chris joined Home Instead in 2017.  Christine is responsible for anything money.     CAREGiver and Client invoicing, payroll, pensions, accounts and more! 

Christine is married and has 3 grown up daughters and 13 grandchildren!    This keeps her very busy outside of work,   in the spare time she does get she likes to work on her allotment and enjoys knitting and crochet. 

 

 

Christine Martin - Finance

Amy Burrows - Recruitment

Amy has recently joined Home Instead Part-Time.   

Amy has several years experience working for East Midlands Ambulance service and many years experience in the care sector. 

Amy is currently responsible for dealing with all the new CAREGiver enquiries and interviews. 

In her spare time Amy likes to socialise with friends and family  and spend time with her son. 

 

Liz Fallon - Training and Support

Liz Fallon - Training and Support

Liz worked for Home Instead Rugby in 2014/2015.  She then went to do something else for a couple of years,  she has recently returned to us and is responsible for training the new CAREGivers and existing CAREGivers in all aspects to ensure that they have the skills to do the job. 

When Liz is not at work she enjoys time with her husband and dog.  She also likes cross stitch and crafting.
