Our AMAZING CAREGivers

We have lots of unique and caring CAREGivers, with ages ranging from 20 to 60. We carefully match our CAREGivers to our clients and we need to have all sorts of people to ensure we get the right fit. 

Finding the right match is something we pride ourselves on - Matching CAREGivers to clients through similar interests, hobbies and lifestyles. We believe that becoming a CAREGiver and making a difference to peoples lives takes a special person, and we have them in abundance.

Suhail Rehman - Director

Suhail Rehman - Director

Suhail has an extensive background in both business and charitable sectors. Prior to becoming a Home Instead Franchisee he launched several technology companies and helped established a number of voluntary and charitable organisations in Glasgow. His voluntary experience in the care sector introduced him to Home Instead and he joined after being impressed with the company's working ethos.

Saqib Rehman Owner of Home Instead Perthshire

Saqib Rehman - Director & General Manager

Saqib has a strong background in Senior Leadership roles as a Human Resources Director for businesses within the technology sector. He has built world class software engineering teams in Glasgow and across the world which have developed innovative breakthroughs in the field of mobile technology. It became apparent to him during his professional career, the importance and value of hiring the very best in the business, retention and ensuring recognition was a key aspect of the HR strategy and the correlation this had to business success. It was this that brought him to Home Instead and how the values of the business resonated with his own experiences throughout his career. 

He is married and has one child. Family is very important to him. When working away from home Saqib often worried about his parents and their health. Saqib realised the value of being able to trust others to look after his loved ones and it became a mission to provide and manage a company which does just that. Hence Home Instead Perthshire was born. 

Saqib takes an active interest in giving back to the community. In his capacity as Chairman for youth organisations within local communities in Scotland, he provided strategic guidance and direction across multiple communities within Scotland. 

Saqib's main objective is to nurture a culture of continuous development and recognition for his CAREGivers and is truly privileged to ensure the continuous delivery of outstanding service to our clients within the Perthshire area. 

In his spare time, Saqib has a keen eye for innovation and technology and is an avid football fan. 

Registered Manager Home Instead Perthshire

Sara - Registered Care Manager

Sara is our Care Manager.

Sara has full responsibility for service delivery and her role ensures that we continue to deliver high quality care to our clients. She also ensures that our lovely CAREGivers are trained, supported and mentored to a very high standard. Sara’s role plays a vital part in ensuring that our clients receive the best in premium quality care.

Sara has gained an HNC in Social Services and is currently completing her BA(Hons)Health and Social Care.

Sara has won an award with Alzheimer's Scotland for developing a volunteer-led service within the homes of people living with dementia. She has also completed a number of modules on Dementia, Parkinson's, End of Life , Adult protection, Medication and Moving and Assisting and has always been passionate about care, having cared for close family members in recent years.

Before joining Home Instead, Sara worked as a Coordinator at a Home Care service provider in the Fife and Clackmannanshire Area and also worked with Alzheimer's Scotland prior to this. 

Neil Pirie Recruitment and Training Coordinator

Neil - Recruitment & Training Co-ordinator

Neil joined Home Instead Perthshire initially as a CAREGiver back in February. Prior to this, Neil was a manager at a number of high end restaurants within the Aberdeenshire area and his expertise in management quickly became evident in his approach towards the delivery of care he provided and the attention to detail in which he provided this. 

In his role as Recruitment & training co-ordinator, Neil is responsible for the recruitment, selection and training of CAREgivers for Home Instead Perthshire. The emphasis we place on our CAREGivers within Home Instead underlines the importance of this role and Neil has already proven his worth in a short space of time by recruiting diligently, hiring swiftly and training effectively. 

Neil is very much a family man and likes nothing more than spending time with his family and especially his two gorgeous little children.
