Free Gifts for the Elderly in Oldham this Christmas from care company Home Instead & Tesco

Can you supply us with a list of people who may not get a present this Christmas?

Home Instead, a local care service that supports older people in their own homes, has teamed up with the Tesco Extra store on Huddersfield Road in Oldham. Between us we are running a gift giving scheme for older people in Oldham & Saddleworth who may be lonely or might not receive a present this Christmas.

The campaign is called ‘Be a Santa to a Senior’ and we need the help of local organisations to identify people for presents.

In a nutshell; people go to the Tesco store, collect a gift tag with a person’s name on it (first name only), select a present from our ‘suitable gift list’, purchase the present and hand it in at the designated collection point. The gifts will be wrapped by volunteers and either distributed to the individual’s home or dropped off at your organisation for you to distribute/the person to collect, just in time for Christmas.

The campaign starts on Monday 18th November and there is no cost to you or your organisation. All we need from you are names!

Why not give us a call to find out more about how we can make a difference this Christmas!

Thank you
